Jason Castle - glasses.JPG
Jason Castle - Owner and Attorney

Jason began his law career in working for the City of Phoenix Prosecutor’s Office, trying criminal cases before juries and judges. In 2005, Jason pivoted into family law and has since worked to resolve a wide variety of family law cases, from simple to demanding. He has over a decade of unique expertise in high conflict custody cases, many of which involve allegations of physical, emotional, or sexual abuse. He is also well-versed in helping families with complicated assets including large businesses and complex estates.

He regularly serves as a court-appointed adviser for family law court. In this capacity, he both collects and considers evidence, including conducting formal interviews with children whose well-being is in question. His findings, and his recommendations, are presented in court to determine the best interests of minors in the most difficult family law cases.

Before becoming a family lawyer, Jason was a social worker for ‘at-risk’ children. This experience created a useful and complex understanding of child development and the law, both of which powerfully inform his practice as a family law attorney to this day.

Outside of legal practice, Jason enjoys spending time with his family, and always has a home improvement project in the works.

"Jason was the third family lawyer I worked with on my case and he was by far the best. I could trust him to deal with my case with professionalism and timeliness. He helped guide me on each step of the legal process. Whether it was appearing in court or helping me negotiate an agreement, Jason provided excellent legal advice at each turn. He believed in my viewpoint and did everything he could to help me accomplish my objective. After more than 2 years, I now have custody of both of my children and I am so grateful for all his help."

Kent Millward - serious.JPG
Kent Millward - Attorney

Kent attended Drake University Law School and has been practicing law in Arizona since 2010. He has a multidisciplinary legal background, with experience in family, estate, Indian, real estate, and criminal law. He believes in a personalized approach to law practice, understanding that there is not one form or template that will work in all situations. As a result, he is careful and thoughtful in approaching each client’s matters and has mastered the art of listening to a client’s desired outcomes and then framing them within the facts of each unique case.

Kent enjoys the outdoors, travel, and time with his family.

"Very professional and knowledgeable lawyer and person. I will most definitely hire him again if I ever need too. He is just amazing at his job. And I'm super thankful that I had him for both of my cases."

Jill Kubek.jpg
Jill Kubek - Paralegal

Jill has worked as a paralegal for over the past three decades, helping family law clients successfully manage their cases from start to finish. During her career, she has worked in both large practices and small boutique firms. In addition to her excellent legal skills and intricate understanding of family law, Jill shines in helping clients during and through one of the most difficult periods of their lives. Her experience makes her an invaluable resource for answering client questions and preparing legal disclosures.

She enjoys kayaking and traveling. And she loves dogs!

"I appreciate Jason and his paralegal, Jill, who took the time to help me step-by-step with my very emotional divorce. I had zero experience with the court system and an uncommon circumstance that led me to me filing for divorce. Jason and I worked together as a team, ensuring we did everything we needed to do to get the job done and protect my family. I trusted him with my life and my children's lives and never wavered. He never let me believe this was an easy road, informing me of what he hoped would happen in court, but making sure that I knew it didn't always work out in the ways I would expect or wanted for my family."

Daisy.jpg
Daisy - Firm Dog

Daisy's role is to help keep everyone calm and mindful ... even when life is tense! We know she loves working with us because she won't let Jason leave for work without her.

Daisy never turns down an ear rub or a head scratch. And she is as generous with her fur as she is with her affection - but don't worry! We keep lint rollers on hand in case you can't resister her charm.

"Awwwwwwwwwww...what a sweet dog! Can we pet her?"
-At least 10 strangers on every dog-friendly restaurant patio she visits.
She thought they'd never ask!
