Uncontested Family Law Agreements

Designed to proactively prevent future conflict, uncontested agreements are incredibly cost-effective, offering significant reductions in time and energy for both parties

Cohabitation Agreements

A Cohabitation Agreement is a legal contract between a couple who have chosen to live together but are not married. Living with a romantic partner without a written Cohabitation Agreement can present significant risks to both parties.

Cohabitation Agreements often include:

  • Provisions for financial responsibility for household expenses

  • Protections for the homeowner

  • - Provisions related to children not shared by the parties

  • Protection for assets acquired during the cohabitation period

  • Provisions regarding division of resources upon the death of a cohabitation partner

  • Provisions regarding potential dissolution of the cohabitation agreement

  • Unlike marriage, which is regulated in most US states, cohabitation is not. A cohabitation agreement, which is a private contract, can address, resolve, and prevent many problems! It protects your current and future assets while shielding you from the current and future debts of others.

  • Unlike other areas of contract law, our cohabitation work is billed under a simple, flat-rate model based on situational complexity. No retainers are required for this work; no hourly billing structure is applied:

    Adults-Only Agreements: $3,500
    Adults+Child Agreements: $7,000

Homeowners
We tailor Agreements to your unique needs and circumstances, securing your individual and community interests and resources; so, if the unthinkable happens in the future, you will have set yourselves up for it to be as painless, fair, and rational as possible.

Jason did an excellent job with my case...He always kept me in the loop of communication...He was very professional, respectful of time/cost, and very, very knowledgeable in the matters of the law. I felt very supported in my case and very grateful that he was recommended to me. He is an excellent attorney! I have and will continue to recommend Jason for his expertise to everyone I know. (Avvo, 5 stars)

Jason has what it takes to do a great job for you. He returns calls and emails in a timely manner, communicates well to plan a good strategy, is very assertive and tough when necessary, and explains possible results as well as the cost. He brings his 'A' game, and I cannot say enough good about him! (Avvo)

Jason is hands down the most honest, patient, understanding and strong lawyer I have ever worked with. My situation was rough, something I wouldn’t wish upon any family and Jason turned it into a blessing in disguise!!  -- J.B. (2024)

Jason Castle is the best at what he does. He has an elite reputation for a reason. Jason and his entire staff were a pleasure to work with from start to finish, but most importantly Jason is extremely effective in Court. I cannot recommend Castle Law forcefully enough! No exaggeration, they saved my family! -- J.S. (2025)

Prenuptial Agreements

A Prenuptial Agreement is a legal contract made between a couple prior to marriage that establishes property and support in the event of divorce or death. It is simply a contract that ensures all parties are protected before entering a binding, significant, legal and/or financial partnership with another person; drafted at a time when there is a higher likelihood for creating a mutually beneficial agreement, when both parties are loving, rational, and acting in good faith.

Prenuptial agreements often include:

  • Protections for a spouse from debt accrued prior to marriage

  • Protection for assets accrued prior to marriage

  • Agreements regarding current and/or future community property

  • Provisions regarding division of resources upon the death of a spouse

  • Provisions regarding division of assets/debts in potential divorce

Postnuptial Agreements

A Postnuptial Agreement is a legal contract made between a married couple that establishes terms for the allocation of property and resources in the event of divorce or death. Postnuptial Agreements are often made when one party receives a large inheritance or starts a new business venture.

Uncontested Agreements

Uncontested agreements are made when the parties wish to amicably resolve all disputes in writing. In Arizona, uncontested divorces are called Summary Divorces and can often be completed for as little as $5,000. Post-Decree Agreements, to resolve issues that arise after a divorce or paternity matter is final, are called Stipulations. These Agreements offer tremendous cost savings, as well as significant reductions in time and energy for both parties.
